I am an artist with many canvases. I create with words on paper. I create on wire with beads, wood, metal and glass. I create on canvas with paint and brushes. I create behind a lens using digital film as my canvas. I create digitally on my electronic canvas where my art is refined.
Beautiful photos become the final canvas of my digital photography and graphic design artistry.
I have always been an artist - a writer, a crafter, a photographer. I have a passion to capture what I feel inside and see behind my eyes in a medium I can share with others. Photograpy offers a way to express that passion.
I fell further in love with photography as an art when I lived in Louisiana. A state full of historic beauty just waiting to be captured from behind the lens. From the Civil War era plantations with surrounding cane fields to the wandering streets of New Orleans lined with beautiful doors, iron work and antique bricks, my camera and I couldn't get enough of the beauty. And so my passion behind the lens was completely ignited.
And now, I am sharing that passion with others. Beyond my still images, I am venturing into photographing people. Helping to capture those beautiful moments in our lives that we want to share and remember and see forever. Moments that deserve to be seen as art, moments so special they could only be captured by an artist.
